Altruvest Charitable Services
is a registered Canadian charity founded in 1994 by a group of business leaders, including Rob Follows.

Its mission is to expand the talent pool, and enhance the governance skills of charitable sector boards and senior leaders, fostering more effective charities and stronger Canadian communities.

Altruvest’s solution is to act as a bridge between these volunteers and the charitable organizations. This is done through two core governance programs: BoardMatch Fundamentals and BoardMatch Leaders. Altruvest has also launched a new stream of programs called BoardWorx Executive Director, which focuses on training Executive Directors and senior staff within the charitable sector to enhance their skill sets in the area of governance so that they are able to effectively work with their board of directors.

Everest for Altruvest is a fundraising initiative organized by Rob Follows, Founder and Chair, and the Altruvest team with the objective of increasing awareness of Altruvest and inspiring new contributions that will ultimately help hundreds of charities improve their performance.

Goal: To raise over $1 million to launch the Altruvest Vision Fund for the long-term sustainability of Altruvest.

All contributions will go directly to the Fund as all expedition costs will be paid by Rob and Katrina.

This climb symbolizes the journey that charities must take on a daily basis. Please join us in our efforts to raise the awareness and the dollars to help Altruvest continue to build stronger charities and communities.
